whats with the Yolk

the last two days...I have notice..that the egg had a dot in the yolk...not red...but more whitish transluscent...
does this mean that my rooster has been busy..???
not complaining
tasted fine..
just wondering

Sounds like the rooster has been busy

. Fertilized eggs are perfectly fine to eat and shouldn't effect the taste of the egg.

Congratulations! You have a functional rooster! ( and probably a very happy one!). Now is the time to watch that he doesn't try to be the boss of you, and if he tries, to nip that in the bud. Have fun!
