That is cool. Your birds are beautiful. I have a sun conure. He was a rescue bird. When I got him, they told me he was 17 then and probably would not live much longer. Pasqually proved them wrong. That was 7 years ago.

they live awhile.. I was going to get a sun conure several years ago but ended up getting squirt as an egg he was an assisted hatch he was a quaker parrot..... I had a fire in the begining of the year and unfortunately it triggered a huge asthma attack with me and I was so busy trying to breath forgot about poor squirt..........the next morning he had passed away

Awww

So sorry. Glad you got out ok though. We had a fire scare last winter. The water pipes busted and DH was cutting a hole in the floor. It was FREEZING outside. The sparks from the circular saw sparked and caught some of the wood shavings on fire. Next thing I know he is yelling at me and little girl to GET OUT! The house was filled with smoke and my driveway was filled with fire trucks. Very scary, but it all turned out ok.

Not a good quality pic at all. Phone camera sucks. But this is pasqually. He has blankets at the bottom of his cage that he covers up with every night. If he doesn't have a clean blanket, no one can sleep! He is very loud.
