I have a very small flock, 4 chickens and 3 ducks. Thursday a week ago one of my hens began to put herself in time out at the corner of my house. She just stood as if in a trance. She easily allowed me to pick her up, which was unusual. Thus, my internet search started. She was not egg bound, no mites, her comb was still mostly bright red.

I saw that she had pretty much all the symptoms of coccidiosis so began treatment for her and the flock with Corid. She has been isolated and no other bird shows symptoms. Bless her heart she is still hanging in there, but not really eating. I offered her mealworms, their special treat, and she tried but did not eat them.

I have noticed that her poop went from foamy yellow to dark green, but not diarrhea. This was yesterday's development. I don't want her to suffer and waste away, but she just isn't eating. Suggestions? Anything would be helpful at this point.

Feed her as much as u can and put little corn bits in her food. If shes still in pain then the kindest thing to do would be to kill her :(

Can you post some photos of your hen and of the poop?
When was the last time she laid an egg? Feel her abdomen for bloat, swelling or fluid buildup. Check the crop to make sure it's emptying overnight (should be empty in the a.m.)
Foamy poop could be worms, if you can't get a fecal float to check for worms, then you may want to go ahead and deworm her since she is not doing well.
Fenbendazole (Safeguard) and Valbazen can both be found at most feed stores like Tractor Supply.
Dosage for Valbazen is 1/2 ml given orally and then repeated in 10 days for each chicken and Fenbendazole (Safeguard) is 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days in a row.

Look forward to the photos and you letting us know how she's doing.
