What's wrong with her?

I'm new to chickens and I had someone deliver me six pullets this morning. One of them has lost most of the feathers on her back, she's 7 wks old. I don't see any mites or lice. What's wrong with her and what do I need to do? Thanks again. Sorry my computer wouldn't load a pic today.

Maybe the home they came from had a rooster. That would explain it.

I sure hope its not a roo, I ordered all pullets. She (or he) is 7 weeks old.

Could be someone's been plucking her feathers. Maybe they were overcrowded.

You might try adding BOSS or plain ole sunflower seed (hearts > so de-hulled) and some cooked eggyolk through their feed. A general supplement like AviaCharge 2000 (purchase online from McMurry or Strombergs) will ensure against further deficiencies... this in case the birds have not been on the proper feed regimin and and are eating the poor girls feathers.
