What's wrong with my chicken tongue?

My chicken got pecked on by the other chicks and I have been trying to feed him and when I found him he wasn't moving at all but he still alive and I'm trying to feed him but it looks like his tongue got severely cut and I don't know if it is normal and I should try to feed him or if I should just leave him?

Could you point out which part of the tongue/mouth you're concerned about? I don't see anything obviously abnormal here. I'm more concerned about the not moving part. Could you give more information? Any obvious wounds on him? Age? How long has he been not eating/acting unwell?
