What's wrong with my CL? Laying?

Mine is 18 weeks and doesn't look anywhere near ready compared to yours! I'm jealous.

I'm having the same experience with pullets of the same breed and age where one will start laying and it takes 2-3 weeks for one of the other to lay. I also have two Brahmas and one is huge and started laying few days ago while her sister is half her size and looks no where near ready to lay. Strange because they all eat the same things. Not sure why some mature faster than their siblings.

That's interesting. I wonder if pecking order has anything to do with it also. My CL is not the top pullet but she is definitely top 3 depending on who is filling out the bossiness on any given day I'm sure the line they come from also has a play in how they mature. My CL is from Greenfire Farm line and has a less prominent crest than yours. Pretty girl you have there. Mine also looks a little fatter but hard to tell from one picture. Does yours have a salmon ish colored breast?

So another question. I'm sure this is normal but it's now weds and she laid on Sunday. Is is normal to skip a bunch of days when they first start laying? What should I expect? I just want to make sure she is ok and nothing is stuck or anything. She is acting totally normal so I'm not super worried just a teeny bit

Yes its normal when they first start laying. They will sometimes lay sporadically at first.
Here is my girls breast. She is not on top or bottom of the pecking order. She doesn't bother any of the others and they don't boss her either.

Well my CL laid last sunday (1st egg) than didnt lay again until this past Saturday. So I figured I'd have to wait another week for another egg but NO, she laid another on Sunday so two days in a row. Im working today (Monday) but Ill be checking first thing when I get home to see if she can make it a 3-fer
