whats wrong with my drakes bill?

i noticed this red spot on my drakes bill today, its dry and is a part of his bill not a piece of food
anyone has any thoughts? hes acting just fine btw

Looks like a small wound. Could be rubbing it on something like a metal feeder or waterer, or even through a fence trying to reach stuff on the other side.

should i do smth? i saw that it was dried up so i didnt wanna open it again by trying to mess with it

I wouldn't mess with it. I would look to see where it may be rubbing it, and see if I need to change anything. That small spot should heal up fine. It will keep it clean by dunking it's face in the water. Just make sure the water is changed regularly.

thank u! i have no idea what couldve caused it cuz i have nothing he could be rubbing it against, im thinking maybe an accident w his flock members or smth
