Whats wrong with my duckling?!

I'll be here

Here she is next to her littermate. She is obviously the black one.

And here she is next to the ones that hatched a week and 3 days later.

Also what was weird with her: She was born with this sticky crud on her that looked like sugar/egg white. She never fluffed up because of it. I couldn't get it off with warm water and qtip. It was plastered to her.

I have PeeWee in with the later hatch because she is the same size as them.

This one's harder to determine. Is she still feathering like normal just not growing any larger?

I'm getting ready to clean out their box so sorry for the mess they have made. I keep a towel in there the first week to make sure they're all strong on their legs. (learned my lesson with spraddle leg.)

No she is not feathering like normal. She is feathering more at the rate of the second hatch. She also has droopy looking eyes. There is nothing that comes from them, they just look tired. She is the homeliest looking think I have ever seen. Lol.

ETA: I noticed today her pooey butt.

. After brooding ducklings and goslings no brooder mess bothers me

Is she still pretty active? Or is she very tired?

Hmmmm... I wouldn't say she's active. I would lean more towards tired. She still hovers under the heating lamp where as her brothers/sisters I have taken their lamp off of them. They have almost all their wing feathers. I guess I'll just keep watching her growth and see if these 2nd hatch chickens start to outgrow her. Then I'll know something's going on here.

I just assumed she was a little runt.

It's possible she could be a late bloomer. If the next batch out grows her then she is most likely going to be a micro.
