What's wrong with my ducks eye? :(

I came home today and noticed my Cayuga drake won't open his eye. He has a couple times and it's watery and on the bottom of the eye it looks like something white in his eye....I can't get a picture because he won't let me and he keeps closing his eye. When he closes his eye it looks normal. He has 6 gallon buckets and a pool of clean water at all times.. He has been getting into a couple fights with "the top hen"...Maybe she pecked his eye?? She did make his bill bleed the other day..I'm really worried about him! What do I do? Thanks

Is there any gunk in it? If so you might try flushing it out.

It does sound your like duck could have injured his eye.

It looks almost like a white burger..How do I flush his eye out? Thanks!!

I would use a saline solution to flush it out.

That's a good sign! Have you already separated him from the others? I wouldn't want any of the others furthering the issue.

Yep Same status. Hoping he'll be better by tomorrow or the next day!

You may want to use some Terramycin Opthalmic ointment in it. It's great stuff. i've used it with my cats, ducks, chickens, and even in my own eye when i've had problems. It's very soothing and clears things up very quickly. You can get it from a vet, but you can also order it online. i try to keep a couple tubes in my medicine chest at all times.

Update! His eye is just fine and back to normal. I'm guessing he poked it somehow..Thanks Kevin656 and Enchanted Sunrise Farms!!
