About a 8 days ago i noticed my Swedish Blue limping, and upon inspection noticed her dew claw missing. She also seemed lethargic and had a noticably diminished appetite. we brought her inside and she hung out away from the others for a couple days, then let her back out because she seemed better. This morning i noticed she seemed very unenergetic, not even really trying to preen. then i saw her crap out this for the second time today
shes been pooping normally though leas frequently (lowered appetite.)
NO EGGS HAVE BEEN LAIN SINCE I NOTICED HER LIMPING ≈8DAYS AGO
also have noticed her seeming to hide from the rest of the flock(3 others, 1m 2f) none of them seem ill by any means
what is going on?
Update: at the emergency room. poor girl has a MASSIVE EGG stuck. they're giving her calcium gluconate and pain killers. were taking her home and hoping warm baths and lube and tums work.... i don't wanna lose my friend.... any advice? were supposed to provide massage, but they can tall which direction, and the egg isnt stuck in the main channel because shes still pooping...
