Whats wrong with my hens feet? mites?

Hello,
I think, I'm dealing with mites in my hens' feet. Or could just be dry feet? (I don't think so) please see the photos and if you can please give me some tips on how to treat this.
I heard people put baseline but can be messy, is there other way?

Permethrine spray then cover in Vaseline, or mineral oil, rub it in good to smother the mites.

Yep - those look like scaly leg mites. The little critters are up under the scales of her feet. treat her feet with a good leg mite solution (saturate her legs with it - or let her stand in it, if you can, so the meds get up under the scales. When her feet are mostly dry, you can gently rub petroleum jelly on them. That suffocates the parasites and helps with the dryness. You'll need to do that until the scales go back to normal. It takes awhile, but it's worth the effort.
