Well we don't think it's Vent-Gleet and I checked her carefully for lice/mites and don't see any. She is resting comfortably in a dog carrier and I gave her yogurt and put the raw apple cider vinegar in her water. She is eating and drinking. She was clucking earlier like she was going to lay an egg and I watched her to see if there was success but eventually, she lifted her rear tail feathers and appeared to be straining some and out squirted a clear liquid. No egg! I picked up some mineral oil at the store and epsom salts. I will soak her again and then do a probe to see if she is eggbound. I have never had this happen so my confidence level is very low and I don't want to hurt her. Thanks for the help and suggestions we've had so far.
Good luck! Sounds like you are doing the right thing. I lost one of my girls last week, if you don't get an egg out, I would get her on antibiotics quickly. JMO.
