[IMG] This is a picture of my 6 month rooster. It's been about 20-30 degrees the last couple of days here, and I've noticed that his wattles are larger/longer then normal. Can anybody explain why this is happening? :(

    Fore!
Maybe I'm not seeing him clearly enough in the photo, but do his wattles and comb have black on them? I'm wondering if he has a bit of frostbite going on there.

Since I keep chickens in FL, the only time I've see that is in pictures so maybe someone in a colder climate can chime in.

[IMG] Yes, some of the other roosters in the flock have the color on their combs as well. This ones wattle is the only one that is obviously different from the others though. And I can tell it's bothering him. I was just worried there might be something else or worse wrong with him. We put him in the garage for the night just in case. Thanks for replying!
