What's wrong with my rooster?

My rooster has lost over 2/3 of its head feathers in the last 3 days. I don't know if that can happen with an illness or if it's more likely he's getting picked on.

He's hanging out more with the ducks, which is what he did last time he was getting bullied, but I don't know. Last time (last year), he had a bloody eye and missing tail feathers, but I've not seen this head feather decrease so dramatically before. What do you think? I know you can't know for sure, but any thoughts about possibilities?

Hopefully the new picture helps. I hadn't thought of molting! Maybe he is.

Looks like a heavy molt with pin/blood feathers coming in.
