Whats wrong with my silkies' Feathers?

Hello, I have 3 Silkie Chicks that are about 2-3weeks old. One of them isn't like the others though Its feathers flip up real bad like a frizzle. Do you think they might have sent me one that wasn't the same as the rest or is something wrong with this chicken. It has a lot of spots where there is no feathers, But it seems very happy.Thanks, Justin.

Dang, none of mine are silkies then. I guess you just can't get what you pay for anymore. I wonder what they are then.

Well, that's a frizzle. Whether it has any silkie in it close, probably not, maybe. Even some of mine that I know are sizzles, have some pink toes. but mostly black.

Even Gin and Whiskey are dark footed. And they're the lightest of the group.

Frizzles and sizzles are awesome birds, they're just not silkies.

I love my sizzle fuzzies.

The bird in the OP is not a silkie, it's a frizzled cochin.
