Today me and my hubby went to TSC and got a few more chicks including the bantam chick in the picture. I noticed while we were looking at the chicks, this one was very lethargic and not really moving as much as the others. His beak has red on it and it seems to be crooked a bit too. I felt so bad for him I had to bring it home. What are some suggestions on helping him along. We have given him a bit of sugar water, he is walking a bit, and starting to make noise. Right now we have him seperated from the others on a heating pad and syringe feeding him every once and a while. What can we do to help him out, any clue what may be wrong. I put a couple pics up, not sure if they will help and they arent the best quality either. Also, does anyone know what kind he is??? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

He looks like a Mille Fleur to me! Maybe try some vitamins and electrolytes, just mix in the water.

Update on the sick baby chick.....the poor baby didn't make it. He he is up in chicky heaven running around with all the other babies. The hubby found him laying with the others, but he was peaceful. The hubby took him and burried him outside. It was a sad day.
