HAHAHA... right now, I'm lucky to get 1! And I'm actually happy about that LOL. Our girls are just finishing up their molt AND they're almost 3 years old... so I give them credit. Hoping a few more finish up molting and get back to laying SOON! Congrats on your 7-10!
 
Chickens lay eggs? Really? Couldn't prove that over here at the Ellandee! We have one mutant that seems to be producing, but the others are mastering the fine art of crumble consumption.

hehehehe... we call them free-loaders!!! Sometimes I go out to the coop letting them know I've started a pot of boiling water and if they aren't careful we may be making chicken soup for dinner

That's my problem. I've been walking around the coop with an axe. So the trick is to boil water instead? Do they have to see said pot of water, or do you have those English-speaking poultry I keep looking for at McMurray's?
 
Until the shorter days,we averaged about 5 a day from 6 rsl's. It's dropped now to 4. That's still way more than the 2 of us eat, so all is well :)
