I have had chickens for only about 7 months. I don't know what their favorite treat is, but, they seem to like everything. Mine are free ranging. I put them out in the morning and they come in at night. I am amazed at how self sufficient that they are. I have Rhode Island Reds, New Hampshire Reds, and Buff Orpingtons. My Orpington Rooster seems to be very protective over the hens. I would hate to tangle with him. He has already sent 2 dogs on their way. I am sure it is obvious that I don't know much about the creatures, but, I am sure enjoying them
