My favorite bird was Ophelia - my umbrella cockatoo. No bird will ever compare to her.

My favorite is my little banty hen, Miss Betty. Of the 6 bantams, she's the only one who craves person affection and wants to come out every time I open the door. Loves to be held and petted!

I have an Umbrella boy, Angelo(original owners called him Angel, he didn't care for it) and I compltely understand the love that we have for our parrots. I dearly love my Angelo and my Quaker Parrot, Rima. You can develop such a connection with these birds. They are such special beings.

That's my boy dancing on the back of his computer chair. He sits there a lot when I'm online during the daytime . He is a total comedian. lol

I honestly dread the day when my birds are not with me. I can't stand to think about how things will be. I had no idea before I owned them how your life completely changes beca use of them. They are definitely central figures in my life, and I would not change that for anything.

Oh he is beautiful! He looks very happy - good job! I love how you can tell their emotions just by looking at their eyes and mouth - Ophelia almost always looked like she was smiling.

I will probably adopt another U2 - maybe around Christmas time. It will be nice to have a bird in the house again - one that talks to you and wants to sleep in your shirt,

not one that poops everywhere and wants to swim in your bathtub!

I was thinking, you could name your peahen Opal, since she is white.

My favorite bird is Mincen, my cockatiel. I've had her almost 7 years now. She chose me at the petstore, and we've been friends ever since.

Here's a pic of Mincen and my husband Darrel. He came home from work and fell asleep on the couch. Mincen loves to be on people, so she crawled on him. She matches his pants, lol!
