What's your favorite breed? And Why?

Oh man, that is a tough one because I have 2 favorite breeds......I would have to say my Welsummers, they are beautiful, stunning and sweet birds. Good layers of very pretty eggs to boot!
My other favorite would be my Marans, they are beatiful birds and by far the friendliest and sweetish birds ever! They are great layers and the eggs are beautiful!
I have 2 very spoiled rotten birds and very spoiled because of their sweet dispositions, both of which happen to be Marans. My little "IsaBell" 5.5 mos old BCM pullet and my 9 mos old very dark blue copper boy, Bill.

I love silkies. They are so unique and sweet. I have had them for many years. So many gorgeous flocks around and it's defianately worth finding a good breeder.

Almost forgot.....they are reliable, no nonsense layers, good foragers, calm, friendly, etc., etc., etc.
