They are pretty.

They really are. But most of them lay blue or green eggs, and I just don't find those colors of eggs appetizing. (Sorry, EE fans! )

We have olive eggs and they just look rotten even though they aren't. We eat them all. They all look the same in the pan.

Wonderful birds. Don't know much about the d'Uccle, but SF are soo great friendly and funny and awesome, on my top 10 list!!

Sumatras and bantam Ameraucanas are two breeds on my wish list. I currently raise bantam Chanteclers; the Ameraucanas would pair well with them as a flock and the Sumatras would just be neat to have around.
