What's your favorite older movie ?

I saw several people posted Labyrinth on here.

Years ago (probably about 2006-ish) when I was a substitute teacher, a teacher I subbed for at the high school didn't leave lesson plans. I sent a student down to the history teacher to get a movie from him. She came back with Merlin and Labyrinth. To my surprise, the students opted for Labyrinth.

So when it started, the looks on their faces was just PRICELESS.

"What is THIS?!"

"Who the heck is that?"

"What are those sock puppet things?!"

So I said: "Students this was the EIGHTIES!! David Bowie, fantasy movies, pop music and muppets!"

I miss the 1980s when Muppets were even in "non-muppet" things.

To quote Homer Simpson about what's a muppet: "Well, it's not quite a mop, not quite a puppet, so to answer your question ... I don't know"
