What's your favorite older movie ?

Quote:
My favorite old (and I do mean old) movie is You Can't Take it With You, with young Jimmy Stewart and Lionel Barrymore. Whenever I need a good laugh that's the ticket. Next would have to be Bringing Up Baby with Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant. Just love the silly old movies. Harvey was great and so was Arsenic and Old Lace and Boggie and Hepburn were great in African Queen.

I like 80's and 90's movies... Not really old, but not this generation of films... Trading Places, Beverly Hills Cop (all of them), Ferris Bueller's Day Off, What About Bob, The Birdcage... Eddy Murphy and Bill Murray are my favorites. Then I could go on and on about the sitcoms... Friends, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond... All the best! I am a movie fanatic, too.

Flash Gordon , Silent Running, 2001, and just about any of the Sci-Fi movies I had to sneak out to watch cause the Folks didn't care for all that space/bug eyed monster stuff.

I love older non-Disney animated movies, my favorites being Watership Down, The Plague Dogs, The Last Unicorn, Secret of NIMH, and others. Incidentally those are all based off of favorite books of mine.

Also, the Goonies! LOL.

I'm only twenty-three so my definition of old might be a little warped, ha.
