What's your favorite thing about owning chickens?

Hello and welcome to the flock of crazy chicken people. I can't name all the things I love about chickens. Their beauty, personalities, watching their antics, the sounds, pest control and eggs for breakfast!

Well. I got my chickens for pest control. But they're pretty, they're funny, and they're just generally nice people. They get me out of the house and active as I take care of them. As others have said here, they are fun to watch. And they are ... well, therapeutic. Relaxing. They take you out of yourself and away from your problems and stresses. When you sit and watch tv, you get into other people's problems, and not even real people or real problems. But when you sit and watch your chickens, it's like stepping into a world that is just pure innocence for a while. That's how it is for me anyway.
