What's Your Favorite Word, Or Saying?

I said *cool beaners* the other day, and the kids are like,' What in the world is a beaner?" I don't know!

I heard chilax on one of the kids disney shows. Guess it is a combo of chill and relax. I liked it.

Curbing the swearing around the kiddos I have been saying," Oh nonsense(mushrooms)"

And I used to have a note pad that had a saying I liked: Same S*** Different Day

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow---

My favorite sayings are "There is a butt for every saddle" , "Whatever" or "Whatever floats your boat"

My favorite word is Masticate: To chew loudly.

My husband is an open mouth eater. It bugs me so one night I said very rudely "Will you please stop masticating at the table?" He gave me that whaaat look. He thought I said something else. Then I said "It means your are chewing too loud!" He blushed like a school boy.

I love using big words and I always make sure I know what they mean before I throw out there. It's funny to watch the kids faces when they hear a big word and they don't know what it means.
