What's Your Favorite Word, Or Saying?

I've been trying REALLY hard to swear less (sometimes quite UNsuccessfully, I'm afraid) so I say......

"God Bless America!" Instead of...G.D. IT!

And "What the eff!" instead of the F bomb...that one makes my hubby laugh, he says it sounds unnatural coming from me...

I have a couple. One I've been saying for years. After telling someone something they may not want to hear, I shrug and say,

"Hey, I'm just calling it how I see it"

The other one is more of a joke. When I first moved to this small town, I discovered that everyone here says

"It is what it is..."

I hated it and thought it was the stupidest thing, mainly because everyone said it CONSTANTLY. However, I started saying it as a joke, to my friends and family out of town. Then it somehow caught on for real, and now I actually say it a lot. Darn locals.... they sucked me in! What can you do? It is what it is!

Love the urban dictionary. I have a dogstacle problem at home also.
