Linda, thanks to you, when I got home from work yesterday, I put on one of the Cambridge Singers Christmas CDs. Turned it up loud and happily whacked away at vegetables to make lentil soup, singing all the while.

We play sacred Christmas music all year long, even on our boat. The message of Jesus coming into this world to save our sorry butts is valid all year long.

I like them all.

What I don't like is the continuous over kill of Christmas Carols from Thanksgiving on. I like this stuff a week BEFORE Christmas and not a month before. As of the last ten years or so, retailers ruin the Holiday Spirit for me.

I have not hung lights or a tree in years but am planning to do at least outdoor lights this year. And no earlier than a week before the DAY and then they come down on New Year's Day.
