What's your least favorite breed?

Any kind of Mediterranean chicken. I have enough stress in my life, I don't need super high-strung animals in my yard (same reason I don't own a Jack Russell).

The other type of chicken I like least is the Cornish Crosses. They eat SO much, and smell so badly in such a small time-frame. Plus I just get depressed looking at them, they are doomed and have nothing ahead of them but death by human, or becoming crippled by their own weight. *shiver*

I need to go snuggle my Easter Egger just to cheer up again after thinking about that!

I've never had mean RIR's before. I love my RIR's. But my favorite of all time has to be my Silkie pullet Snowball.

I don't like RIR, Leghorns, Production reds, Showgirls, but I like NN alot! Minorcas are still undecided!
I like Phoenix, BO, White rocks, Spanish, Marans, and Easter Eggers. IMO Silkies are only good for incubating!

my chickens too.

I do not think I would want to figure out keeping the critters alive long enough to lay eggs. I know it can be done, but it's not something I would be interested in. I just order day old chicks in bulk. The processing is not bad at all, and the more I have done the better I have gotten.

I don't get attached to those guys, they're here to be food so no names. But they're nice calm birds for the kids to pet, and they sure do love popcorn.

It's not that I don't like them, but I just don't get bantams (or Silkies for that matter).
