Funny you should ask this because I finally named my Partridge Rock rooster today-I named him Celery because he is ALWAYS stalking me! You would think I'd have a pic of him, but how can you get a picture of a rooster that is always behind you!
He really is gorgeous, though and I do love him.
Also have Leo, Lurch and Frank

I have several roosters and most of them have names. Indiana Jones(blue giant) we call him Indy, Colbalt (blue giant ) Dutch (barred cochin) Marshmellow (white cochin), Gabriel ( Blue giant).
Willie (was Willow) white silkie, Blueberry (blue silkie),Blackberry (black silkie, Sid the horrible (millefluer bantam) Cyrus (white orpington), Mcgreggor (Splash jersey giant), McTavish (splash jersey giant). Many more in the grow out pen that have yet to get their personalities and names. Wish I could post pics of them but my computer died and I am on one that I cant download pics.

Here are my two roos:

Fish Head (salmon Faverolle)

Broken Toe (Jersey Giant) (you can't tell, but he has one middle toe that is partially amputated and the outside one adjacent was injured at the same time is now bent 90 degrees outward at the middle joint (toes were bit at by another chick at a mere 2 days old!). He's our top rooster!!

Past roos:
Rotis (Delaware) (short for rotisserie...WAY to aggressive with the hens and fighting with Broken Toe (who isn't overly aggressive). At 6 months old, he was shredding the hens up. We never found out how he'd be with spurs) Gorgeous, but evil.

Rusty (Very poorly colored Buckeye) (He was a wimpy rooster. Sweet, timid and would hide all the time.)

I'm so tickled that I can finally join in posting to threads about roosters!!!! A little better than a week ago, this fine and handsome young man came to us from our friends and neighbors up the road a piece. The little sneak broke quarantine prematurely and so he got to bunk in with his ladies earlier than I had wanted him to. Just as a safety precaution mind you. But he hasn't shown the least indication of any illness, and so far,

knock on wood,

all of the girls are acting normal and show no signs of illness either!

Outside of that little bit of naughtiness, he's been a dream come true for me. I've wanted a roo of my own for sooooo long! But, when your local feed stores offer only pullets in the annual sale, you take what you can get and hope that somebody made a mistake at the hatchery. Or, you wait around long enough and your neighbor offers you one of their roo's that they had hoped would be a pullet!!

I've named him Griffin....DH, who is never satisfied with the names I give any of our animals and always insists on giving them nicknames, has given Griffin two nicknames: "Merv" and "Roto"...as in "Roto-Rooster"

Yeah, that's what I thought too!

No matter...I love him to pieces.

So, without further ado, presenting Griffin, 10 month old (estimated) Blue Wyandotte:

He's just a little man now, but growing up fast and taking his responsibilities very seriously already!

My roo is still very young. I hope he matures to look like some these good looking roos on this posting.

His name is OREO - - - all our chickens had to have a dessert theme name.

I'll have to get back with a picture. All the ones I have upload are of him a baby chick.

My roosters name is butter butt and as of last night he's in the dog house! We were doing constuction uptairs so I put him in with the girls, he usually ends up raping them , last night he made the girls cry, I went and changed the water and he attacked me! unless I want hatching eggs he's now banned from seeing the girls, he became so mean, when he roams the house without the girls he's well mannered!
