Wheat berries?

I have 4, 2 -3 year old chickens who eat organic feed and free range in my yard. Today I discovered weevils in the bucket of hard red wheat berries. Can I add this to the chickens feed each day? (I don't have the energy to pick out the bugs right now)

Extra free protein, the chickens will probably love finding them in there.
