Does anyone know good or bad, how wheat germ grass is for chickens. My chickens found my stash and ate ALL OF IT! They have plenty of other kinds of grass, soooo I was thinking since they loved it sooooo much, about planting some for them???? Yeah or Nah?

Some people sprout grains for their chickens as their primary winter food source. Wheat berries, oats barley and the like. It has more nutrition than just the seeds, and also helps the feed last longer. Chicknes love fresh greens in the winter. no matter what type of seed has been sprouted.

I was just shocked that they loved it so much, they do have sprouted alfalfa and regular grasses to eat, but apparently there is something in the wheat germ grass that was much tastier...
