wheaton roo x bb red hen

I've read all the pertinent literature already re: recessive wheaten, plus have read all available online forum discussions of such already, including the one you have linked to. I am not ignorant of this debate, and I doubt anybody else here who knows genetics is either. I am not personally sure what all is and could be out there-maybe there is recessive wheaten, maybe there is not. I might have recessive wheatens on my hands and not know it. My personal feeling however is that if there is real recessive wheaten out there, it is not at all common. If it was common, Why would there still be any debate? My thoughts are the vast majority of birds out there that look wheaten are dominant wheaten.

I am going to start a new topic soon about some questions I have about this recessive wheaten issue-this isn't really the place for it.
