Wheaton vs Partridge Penedesencas

How do you distinquish the Wheaton from the Partridge Roo? I think I have a Partridge, but the onlines pics are close...any one want to weigh in?

Wheaten leans more toward a golden color, while partridge is more of a red color.

I would say the opposite.
Wheaten cockerels are often a darker red.
The hackle stripe black is more in partridge.

A wheaten male should not have hackle striping at all.
