My buff Orpington hen hatched 8 lively chicks... they have been staying in a tank in the garage for about a week now and she is starting to wheeze and gurgle when she breathes and she is sneezing.. she is going down hill and i dont know what is wrong! :(

Any illness in any other birds? Did the eggs come from an outside source? Any air quality issues in the garage?

Well it did seem that some other chickens where sneezing too but they haven't been around this chicken.. and she was sitting on the eggs outside until it started to rain quite a bit so we moved her and her chicks and unhatched eggs to the garage. Her chicks have been hatched for a week or so and i wouldn't think there would be any air quality issues :/

You mention a tank that you are keeping your chicks in. If you haven't cleaned it out in that week you may have an ammonia problem. Ammonia will cause lung problems and it doesn't move unless you have an airflow that you won't get in a tank unless it is perforated at the sides. If you have another place to keep them move them immediately and clean the tank out. You can return them as long as you remove the litter every day.
Other wise you may want to have someone local look at your chickens and area to see what the problem may be. Good luck.
