Hello all. And thank you for keeping this forum up to date! We come here often for chicken advice. We have 5 hens all about one year old. Our americana “Feather” has been wheezing for the past few days. My daughter noticed first and it is usually pretty difficult to hear. I read here about food getting stuck in their throats and on another site about some terrible parasite that can breed in their throats!? (Is that only in New Zealand?) she is still eating and drinking and wandering and scratching with the crew but hasn’t laid an egg for a few days. We got a good look in her throat and didn’t see anything abnormal. Felt her neck and it feels the same as the other hens. I’ll post a little video but it is really difficult to hear the wheeze. Any ideas? Thank you in advance! We love our ladies and don’t want them to suffer! https://youtube.com/shorts/SZi81wwFNq0?feature=share
