One of four of my hens starting making this sound today (found a video online). No discharge, no other apparent distress, eating fine. I'm in western NY and I'm going through a blizzard right now.
If I have to separate her, can I bring her inside (basement, unheated garage)? Will she not be able to go back into the cold due to acclimation to the warmth?
She's always made the funny squeak with a sneeze when she gets excited, like if I let them out and sit down or she starts wolfing down food in a rush to beat everyone.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
