I have 9 girls, all various colors of brown and pretty much run of the mill in the looks department. This doesn't affect our love for them at all
Anyhoo, when should we expect some eggy-ness from them? They are getting pretty darn big andd were born the second and third (two batches) weeks of April. They totally love the roosts we built and the nest boxes, but mostly they just hang around and throw all the straw out of the boxes. Should I make the front "lip" of the box taller to keep the straw in?
