i have a white-leghorn a black-sexlink and a RIR and they are a little over 20 weeks old and i was wondering when they will start laying?

When they're ready....just like mine that are now 24 weeks old and not laying eggs yet

Rule of thumb - 24 weeks. Go with that and I doubt youll have too many surprises.

Aw, 24 weeks is nothing. Try waiting till 30 weeks, like I just did with my Buff Brahma, 25 weeks with one of the Blue Orpingtons. David is correct, however, that by 24 weeks, most pullets have laid their first egg.

Late laying is a genetic trait like speckled feathers. It can happen - I suggest you dont encourage it by breeding the late bloomers.

But anticipation is the best part. Just WAIT til your first egg appears. Youll dance a jig, Im sure. I did.
