When can 4 wk old chicks join the flock?

I have 14 ten week old bantams and two 4 week old bantams. I have been putting the young ones in a cage and placing it in the coop yard with the older chicks. When is it safe to let them out of the cage to join the flock?

How long have they been in view of the others? I'd give it 1-2 weeks of see but don't touch before letting them out for a supervised visit (and you can decide how fast or slow to progress from there).
