I am soon getting 15 ducklings. I know they are going to grow out of the kiddie pool that I have inside very fast. I am going to get them mid to late feb. we live in central Oklahoma. My question is how old do they have to be to go outside in there coop? It is a fully inclosed coop and I will have a heat lamp in there at all times

The heat lamp might be a good idea while they are very young, but once they are feathered I don't think it will be necessary anymore. Ducks are very cold hardy

If the temperature under the heat lamp is right, your ducklings can go out in that coop the day you get them.

Just use a thermometer to check a few times in the days before you get the ducklings, to make sure it actually stays in a safe range. You want there to always be somewhere too cold and somewhere just right, and it's OK to have a little bit of space that's too hot. The ducklings can move back and forth to stay comfortable as the overall temperature goes up and down during the day and night.
