When can I bring out my little chicks with the older flock?

so the chicks are 10 weeks of age and the older flock is about 10 months now, when is best for them to free range with the older flock?

yes I’ve made a small protective run for them inside of the older flocks run

How long have they seen each other?
It's recommended to do at least 2 weeks where they can see everyone without any contact.

I would do some supervised free ranging with them together and see how it goes.
They'll probably need more time to integrate I'd think. But just go slow starting with short supervised free ranging times.
