When can I expect eggs?

My silkie cross has been broody for 4 weeks.
I have gone down the route of making her a little uncomfortable and not letting her into the nestbox during the day.
Today was the first day that she didn't want to smash the door down to get in, so I guess she must be over it.

But how long between broody and eggs?
I should also say that she laid all through the Christmas holidays and New Year

I have a little Silkie too who goes broody once in a while. I was trying to remember last time and it seemed like it took a week or so after to start laying again.
