When can I move my ducks into the coop?

I have a question about having a pool in the run for the ducks. I had heard that you shouldn't have a pool if you have chcikens too because they may fall in and drowned. The pool I was going to use is just a small kiddie pool, but before I put it out, I want to make sure it will be OK.

I'm going to make a ramp for them to get in and out. Will that help chickens NOT drowned?

Not sure of the correct answer, but I have cought my girls in the kiddie pool already with water up to their butts. it was funny as heck. so i am giong to put in in my fun for the chickens and the ducks.
