when can i put my 20 week old chicks with my big girls/eat layer feed?

This question normally comes up every day or so. And the same answers are posted also. But that said I'll post my normal answer. My chicks were in with all the others from say one. Now at 7 weeks and feathered, mama has turned them out herself. They range in their places, and the big girls in theirs. The one problem I have is the Black Sexlink. She is just mean to the little ones for no reason. I think it's the color thing. She just all of a sudden hunts them out go aften them. They run and it's over. The funny part is they run to me for protection. They've learned I'll stop it.
