I waited forever and a day to purchase 3 Heritage Wheaten Ameraucanas which are feathering into some stunning birds. My question is how long after they start laying should I wait before I incubate some of their eggs?

Several months, you want the eggs a NORMAL size so the chick has room to develop.

I have no personal experaince with this so hopefully someone that does will answer soon . I have heard that when they first start laying there eggs can be small and possibly odd shapped or soft ect so I would wait till they are laying nice sized and shaped eggs maybe . Again im not an expert
