When can I wean my pygmy goat.

I was wondering when I can wean my pygmy goat off her bottle? She was born april 17th, so she is about a month and a half

7-8 weeks of age is when I had mine fully off the bottle.

I would start offering her grain and hay. Less milk bottles. Start giving her half a bottle filled with warm water to replace 1 milk bottle a day.

I kept mine on milk for 3 months but offered grain and hay as soon as they started to accept it.

I weaned my kids at eight to ten weeks. They were offered hay and grain before two weeks of age. When I decided to wean them, I just weaned them cold turkey. You have to be sure the kid is eating solid food well before weaning them, though.

Oh ok. I can wean her that early? I give my older goat horse pellets. Can I give her that?
