I wasn’t questioning you. You are an expert and I am not. You said they they will reach in so I would think the ducks would run away but I’m no expert. I’m going to Lowe’s now and will look for cheap hardware cloth to put 2 feet on each side.

You would think they would run but they sure don't.
And most people have more predators than they think they do.

At least 2’ 3 would be better. Yesterday a friend sent me a picture of her duck house In broad daylight there was a mink looking into her ducks pen. They are awful killers. Her pen is completely covered in hardware cloth.

Ok. I mean I don’t expect the predators to not look for them I just want them to not get eaten. I got one that is half inch and one that is a fourth of an inch
