When can these ducks go outside?

I agree about chickens injuring ducks. We have some pullets that are about 8 weeks older than the ducks and they acted agressively toward the ducklings. They were always seperated though.

My ducks are now 8 weeks old - 2 Pekins, 2 Rouens - and I was wondering when they can go outside all night??? Our daytime temps are anywhere from 45-55 and we have been leaving them out all day but still bringing them in at night because the temperatures have been as low as 15. When can I leave them out full-time at night? We have a "dog house" style home for them, off the ground and filled with straw. My chickens are already out (no heat provided) and have been for about a week now but there are 12 of them and they get locked into a chicken house of straw, separate from where we will be keeping the ducks. Just so you know, the ducks' house is enclosed into a safe pen so no reason to lock them in. I just lock the chickens in right now while they get used to staying in all night. I LOVE my ducks but am tired of them living in my bathtub every night. Silly ducks know that we bring them in every night so they wait by the coop door instead of going into their house at night. I wasn't sure if it would be safe to leave them out in the open like that at temperatures so low. At what point do I be the meany and not bring them in?

Your fully feathered duck babies should be fine if they are left out so long as they have a place to snuggle down into the dry bedding (it sounds like yours do). Are you certain though that their area is predator proof? That would be my biggest concern for them right now.
