My chicks are b/n 5-7 weeks old. They're out in their coop and run now. It's been getting into the upper 50s and low 60s at night, so I've been keeping their light on just at night. When can I turn the light off permanently (or until winter)?

    Thanks, Sonja

At 7 weeks old they shouldn't need their light. If you have smaller chicks or some that aren't fully feathered, you might want to keep it on a little longer.
