I don't know the answer...but have the same question... These boys (I think) are about 6 weeks old:

I see a little bit of red on the second picture downs beak area...it's so hard to say! I posted with pictures on my 'help me sex these chicks' post. One I think for sure is a girl but someone told me it may be too soon to tell. None of the ones I'm looking at have that 'bump' like these do around the breathing area-vent? Nostril? I have no idea, I'm a newbie!

Thank You! I hadn't thought of the bump... I was thinking pullet, cockerel, pullet... But I guess time will tell.
